Pro Life

The many authors of the Psalms wrote in many separate passages…

“From birth I was placed in your loving care; from my mother’s womb you have been my God.”

“For you created my inner most being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

“Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days that were ordained for me were already written in my book before I ever came to be.”

Job makes this salient statement…

“Didn’t He make me in my mother’s womb?”

Jeremiah wrote…

“Before you were born, I set you apart.”

It is clear – from many different verses – that the Bible recognizes the personhood and the sanctity of a child in a mother’s womb.

Science has proven, in hundreds of different ways, that an unborn child is a unique and complete person long before his or her birth.

At the moment of conception, the exact and complete DNA of the entire child is created. Height and weight, propensities towards allergies or diseases, the color of hair and eyes, athletic abilities, even tastes for particular foods are all determined at that critical moment.

On the other hand, the mental gymnastics that the pro-abortion movement employs are astonishing and illogical.

When a pregnant woman is murdered or killed, the culprit is charged with the death of two, not one. Yet that very same mother should be allowed to kill that very same child? Why?

Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta said it best…

“The greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?”

Over 55,000,000 Americans are not alive today because we have justified the murder of Americans that we’ve found to be inconvenient. What happens when old people are found to be inconvenient, or handicapped people, or mentally-challenged people, or poor people?

The Culture of Death that the pro-abortion movement promulgates is the number one reason our society has so many problems. Dave believes that the transit to the outer world should not be the difference between the Constitutional rights of Life and Liberty vs the undeserved death of an innocent child. He was proud to support the Heartbeat Bill and will continue to support the Pro-Life agenda.
